Dear friend,
my name is Lino Tanzarella. I was born in Ostuni (South Italy) in 1938 and at the age of 13 years old I moved to Domodossola, I still remember the date, 7th May 1951.
I arrived on Friday and on Sunday I had already found a job in an hotel called Trattoria Italia. At that time even a canteen could be called hotel. I was 13 years old and I was 135 cm tall. In a month of work I became 163 cm. Nobody knows if it was due to the work or to the food. In a small time I learned to wash dishes, pots and floors, to clean the stove, to do the washing up (there were not washing machines yet)and then, little by little to do the waiter and the cook, that is my present job.

I worked in many hotels in Maggiore Lake , in Switzerland and in Bognanco Terme. I was a cook teacher in a professional school and I met a lot of people. Somebody investigated on my life and discovered that I am a trusty man. He offered me the management of his hotel, without any fear of losing everything.
30 years have passed.

I bought the hotel, I repaired it and now I continue this job with great passion together with my wife and our two sons. After this introduction I describe Bognanco with its Spas, its walks, its nature and the offers of thermal treatment.
